5.5 KW Cal Spa Replacement Heater tube w/ Element. In this assembly, in case of a breaker tripping situations, you may have the option to change the element, rather than changing the whole heater tube assembly. This assembly unit is not an exchanger, but an in-line flow thru replacement for Cal Spa Heater Exchanger. This unit is mainly common in Cal spa Hot Tubs.
Length of the heater tube is as standard length with 15”. Pressure switch is not included.
Common problem in
hot tub is breaker tripping. One of the main reason to trips the breaker is the
bad heating element. Power leakage from the element, trips the breaker for your
safety. To check this, first GFCI breaker off, and disconnect the
power to the heater element by removing the wires from the element or control
box. If the breaker stays on, mostly it is due to the bad element.
Many occasions, short, dry fired or severe corrosion element are reasons to
change the element.
