This is the most common 4 HP Waterway pump used in most popular hot tubs over a decade. This pump is designed specifically to run the motor cooler, have more power and use with less energy.
When the new pump is installed, old O-rings could shrink or not in good shape once it exposes to air. It is recommended to replace the suction and discharge union O-rings or gaskets with new one. Otherwise, possible leaks and over tightening may lead to crack unions.
Side discharge of the wet end could be rotated to left or right side easily. May have to use additional barb fitting instead of a drain plug for the front face plate.<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
